2nd PIARC International Conference on Road Tunnel Operations and Safety
Challenges arising from climate change, infrastructure sustainability and resilience requirements, as well as technological developments in road transport, will lead to a redefinition of design and management standards for roads and, as a result, road tunnels.
This 2nd PIARC International Conference on Road Tunnel Operations and Safety aims to present current thinking on these topics and to create a forum for the exchange of ideas, so as to advance work in the coming years.
At this conference, co-organized by PIARC and the Asociación Técnica de Carreteras, CETU will speak on the following topics :
- the development of energy efficient, comfortable and safe LED lighting for users,
- degraded mode operation of a control station monitoring several tunnels,
- the quantitative risk assessment model for the transport of dangerous goods and the project to update and improve it.
