A successful workshop dedicated to specific hazard studies
On 18th June 2024, the CETU organised a workshop on ‘Specific hazard studies in road tunnels’.
This event brought together nearly 60 participants, mainly from design and engineering firms, qualified experts and organisations, and members of the commissions responsible for advising the prefect on safety issues (CNESOR and CCDSA). Representatives of operators and emergency services were also present.
The day provided an opportunity for numerous discussions on the various topics addressed. In particular, participants were able to deepen their knowledge of the methodology of these specific studies and learn how to better identify the assumptions and important elements that should be included in them. The day also examined how to take new propulsion energies into account in these studies and how to draw up specifications for the service provider responsible for carrying them out.
