The CETU attended the "Mobility Days" of the Ministry of Transport’s scientific and technical network
The 2026 edition of the Mobility Days organised by the Scientific and Technical Network of the French Ministry of Transport took place on 30th June and 1st July 2026 at the ENTPE.
Organised by the Cerema, Gustave Eiffel University and theSTRMTG, the event brought together experts from these organisations as well as from CETU, LAET, IFPENand STAC.
Around a hundred participants were able to exchange ideas over the course of these two days, which featured fifteen themed workshops.
CETU played an active role by co-facilitating three thematic workshops: ‘Mobility and Cyber Security’, ‘Modelling and Digital Twins’ and ‘Electrification of Mobility, Electrification of Freight Transport, and the Use of C-ITS’. It was also involved in preparing and presenting four papers:
- Cyber security in road tunnels: awareness-raising document and lessons learnt;
- Study on the authorisation of cyclists in the Mescla and Reveston tunnels;
- From BIM to Digital Twins for tunnel operations: the Fréjus road tunnel;
- European SCALE project: safety through C-ITS in tunnels in the event of a fire.
This participation provided an opportunity to share information within the ministry’s scientific and technical network on the variety of topics addressed by the CETU and to gather valuable feedback. These contacts are very useful for guiding ongoing work and identifying potential partners.
