Short course on the safety and operation of road tunnels : Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June 2026

Every year, CETU organises training courses on road tunnel safety and operation.

Objectives

The objectives of these training courses (in French) are as follows:

• Inform all those involved in tunnel operation and associated contingency management of the general safety context applicable to them;
• Help operators make improvements to the organisation of operations where necessary;
• Assist project owners and stakeholders involved in compiling or updating safety documentation to have a better undertanding of the safety approach.

A new session is scheduled for Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June 2026.

Please note: places are limited to 20 people.

Target audience

This course is aimed at decision-makers and operational stakeholders. It may therefore be of interest to representatives of the prefecture, project owners, management services and local government agencies.

In addition to providing methodological input, it will aim to reinforce a shared approach to security.

Duration

This short course, in French, lasts two days in order to allow time for discussion between participants and speakers during the presentations.
